Poland's industrial production up in February - stats office

Poland's industrial output rose by 6.9 percent year on year in February 2019, after a 6.1 percent increase year on year in January, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced on Wednesday.

Economists polled by PAP expected February's industrial output to increase by 4.5 percent year on year and decrease by 3.1 percent month on month.

February's seasonally adjusted industrial production index grew by 6.5 percent year on year and by 1.7 percent month on month, GUS added.
