Poland's industrial production up in April - Eurostat

Poland's industrial production rose by 6.6 percent year on year in April 2019, after growing by 8.0 percent in March, the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, reported on Thursday.

Industrial production in the eurozone fell by 0.4 percent y/y and by 0.5 percent m/m in April, Eurostat said.

According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), the country's industrial output rose by 9.2 percent year on year in April 2019, after a 5.6 percent increase year on year in March.

Differences between GUS and Eurostat data may arise from the application of different calculation methods.
