Poland's industrial production up 5.6 pct in September - stats office

Poland's industrial production rose by 5.6 percent year on year in September 2019, and by 10.7 percent month on month, the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS), reported on Friday.

Economists polled by PAP expected September's industrial output to increase by 4.7 percent year on year and to rise by 10.0 percent month on month.

September's seasonally adjusted industrial production index grew by 3.5 percent year on year and increased by 1.2 percent month on month, GUS added.

Industrial production prices went up by 0.9 percent year on year in September 2019 and by 0.4 percent month on month, GUS reported.

According to economists surveyed by PAP, producer prices were expected to go up by 0.6 percent year on year and 0.3 percent month-on-month.
