Poland's industrial production down in May - Eurostat
Poland's industrial production dropped by 15.3 percent year on year in May 2020, after falling 25.1 percent year on year in April, the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, reported on Tuesday.
Month-on-month production in Poland grew by 12.5 percent.
Industrial production in the euro zone grew fell 20.9 percent y/y and grew by 12.4 percent m/m, Eurostat said.
According to the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland's industrial output fell by 17.0 percent y/y in May after a 24.6 percent decrease y/y in April.
Differences between GUS and Eurostat data may arise from the application of different calculation methods.
