Poland's GDP growth seen at 5.1 pct in 2018 - stats office

The Polish economy grew at a 5.1 percent pace in 2018, after a 4.8 percent growth in 2017, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Thursday.

Domestic demand grew by 5.3 percent and investments increased by 7.3 percent in 2018.

Economists polled by PAP predicted an identical growth rate of the Polish economy in 2018. For domestic demand, they expected a 5.6 percent rate and for investment - 7.8 percent.
