Poland's food exports surge in 2022
The value of Poland's foods exports increased by 27 percent year on year in the first eleven months of 2022, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) has reported.
Poland exported PLN 204 billion (EUR 43.6 billion) worth of food between January and November 2022, KOWR has told PAP.
"The results confirm the entrepreneurship of exporters from the agriculture and food processing sectors who last year operated in very difficult international conditions - the war in Ukraine and the (Covid-19 - PAP) pandemic," said Marcin Wronski, KOWR's deputy director general.
Most food exports from Poland, close to 75 percent, were shipped to the European Union.
