Poland's exports grow faster than EU's
Poland's exports in January-October 2019 grew by 5.6 percent year on year, faster than in the entire EU, the Development Ministry reported on Tuesday, quoting the Eurostat data on EU's trade with non-EU countries.
"This was the sixth best result (together with Denmark) among all EU countries, and the second best (also with Denmark) among markets whose exports exceeded EUR 50 billion over the first ten months of 2019, the ministry wrote.
In January-October 2019, EU's exports to non-EU countries went up by 3.8 percent year on year.
Ireland placed first, with its exports to non-EU countries going up by 10.7 percent. It was followed by Luxembourg (a 10.1-percent growth) and Slovenia (a 7.7 percent increase).
