Poland's diplomatic missions in Ukraine to function as long as possible

Government spokesman Piotr Mueller said on Thursday that Poland's diplomatic missions in Ukraine will function as long as possible, in the event of escalation more difficult decisions would have to be made.
Mueller was asked at a press conference about the evacuation of the Polish embassy in Kiev.
"Our posts will generally function as long as possible. However, of course, if an armed conflict does start, more difficult decisions will have to be made, but it is also a signal that we want to run the facility, help and give a clear signal as well, that we support Ukraine," Mueller said.
The government spokesman added that "if the war front moves very strongly, not only diplomatic missions will be affected, but many other people".
Taking into account that the evacuation of the consulate in Odessa is already underway, Mueller replied that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would keep information on consulate offices updated.
