Poland's C/A surplus at EUR 990 mln in December - central bank

Poland recorded a EUR 990 mln current account surplus in December 2019, against a EUR 1.46-bln surplus in November, according to National Bank of Poland (NBP) figures released on Thursday.

Poland recorded a EUR 224 million surplus in goods and a EUR 2.05 billion surplus in services.

It also recorded a EUR 1.3 billion deficit in primary income and a EUR 22 million deficit in secondary income.

Exports of goods in December rose by 6 percentage point to EUR 17.22 billion and imports by 2.6 ppt to EUR 17 billion.
