Poland's C/A surplus at EUR 3.26 billion in December - central bank

Poland's current account surplus hit EUR 3.26 billion in January 2021, against market expectations of EUR 2.94 billion, according to National Bank of Poland figures released on Tuesday.

Poland recorded a EUR 845-million surplus in the trade of goods, and a EUR 2.37-billion surplus in services.

It also recorded a EUR 574-billion surplus in primary income and a EUR 528-million deficit in secondary income.

Exports of goods in January fell by 2.8 percent to EUR 19.15 billion and imports decreased by 5.3 percent to EUR 18.3 billion.

Exports of goods in 2020 reached EUR 232.44 billion, and imports totalled EUR 220.71 billion.
