Poland will fully support Ukraine in EU accession process - FM

Poland's foreign minister has said that his country will do everything possible to assist Ukraine in its efforts to join the European Union.
Zbigniew Rau wrote on Twitter on Monday that "Poland has always been in favour of Ukraine's membership in the EU."
"Today, when Ukrainians are heroically defending their country against Russian aggression, it is high time to welcome Ukraine into the European Union," he added. "Poland will provide Ukraine with all necessary assistance in Ukraine's accession process."
Rau pointed out that his words referred to Ukraine's application for membership in the EU, which was signed by Volodymyr Zelensky, the country's president, on Monday. The document is on its way to Brussels.
Zelensky wrote on social media that he believed Ukraine's membership in the EU was "very realistic."
