Poland reports 24,239 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, 463 deaths

Poland recorded 24,239 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 463 deaths over the past 24 hours to Wednesday morning, against 16,590 cases reported on Tuesday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.
The healthcare system is now handling 15,316 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 14,906 recorded the day prior, including 1,326 patients on ventilators, against the total of 1,913 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.
The Health Ministry also reported that 436,285 people are under quarantine. So far 2,831,903 people have recovered.
In all, Poland has already distributed 40,075,742 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, with 20,177,480 people having been fully vaccinated, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
