Poland reports 12,334 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 8 deaths
Poland recorded 12,334 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 8 deaths over the past 24 hours to Monday morning, against 18,883 cases reported on Sunday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.
The healthcare system is now handling 17,358 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 16,733 recorded the day prior, including 1,526 patients on ventilators, against a total of 2,149 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.
The Health Ministry also reported that 381,821 people are under quarantine. So far 2,901,800 people have recovered.
In all, Poland has already distributed 40,587,690 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, with 20,268,848 people having been fully vaccinated, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
