Poland reports 12,013 new coronavirus cases on Monday, death toll at 61
Poland recorded 12,013 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 61 deaths over the past 24h to Monday morning, against 21,703 cases reported on Sunday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.
The healthcare system is now handling 33,990 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 33,460 recorded the day prior, including 3,483 patients on ventilators, the Health Ministry said.
The health ministry also reported that 362,823 people are under quarantine. So far, 2,197,782 people have recovered.
In all, 7,687,617 Poles have already received jabs against Covid-19, with 2,106,549 of them having had both doses of the vaccine, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
