Poland reports 11,116 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, 127 deaths

Poland recorded 11,116 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 127 deaths over the past 24 hours to Saturday morning, against 11,637 cases reported on Friday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 7,977 Covid-19 hospitalisations, down from 8,338 recorded the day prior, including 508 patients on ventilators, against a total of 1,716 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 68,205 people are under quarantine. So far, 5,174,477 people have recovered.

 In all, Poland has already distributed 53,632,473 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, with 22,279,771 people having been fully vaccinated, of whom 11,285,685 have also had a booster jab, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
