Poland expects to receive close to 1.3 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines this week, the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS) said on Monday.

RARS head Michal Kuczmierowski told PAP that a tranche of 88,000 doses of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Poland on Monday morning and 870,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were expected at about 10:00 am.

Kuczmierowski said that the first tranche of the Johnson&Johnson single-shot vaccine was scheduled to arrive in Poland on Wednesday, and 204,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine later this week.

Poland started nationwide vaccinations against Covid-19 on December 27.
