Maciej Wąsik, a deputy interior minister, told Polish Radio that the barrier should be built as soon as possible to prevent further hybrid attacks by Russia.

"I believe further hybrid attacks on the Polish border are a certainty. We have to be tough and show resistence," Wąsik said.
