The Polish health minister has urged Ukrainian citizens to take advantage of free vaccinations on offer at the Polish health service.

The ministry said that all people can get a free Covid-19 vaccination while Ukrainian children are eligible for vaccinations against measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis and hepatitis B.

"I encourage all Ukrainian citizens to take advantage of the free vaccinations against Covid-19 and vaccinate children as part of the Polish programme for compulsory vaccinations," Health Minister Adam Niedzielski tweeted.

The Health Ministry recommends vaccinations from the day of arrival in Poland for children up to 19 years of age and for those who are unvaccinated against infectious diseases.
