Portuguese Paulo Sousa (50) will take over the position of Poland's national team coach from March this year.

Sousa will replace Jerzy Brzęczek, whose role as Poland's national team coach ended on Monday.

The former representative of Portugal gained his coaching experience in major European clubs, but never stayed with any of them in a long-term capacity. His CV includes Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City, Leicester City, FC Basel and Fiorentina.

In a short video Sousa expressed the hope that Poland will be proud of its national team.
