Poland could move forward thanks to the changes started by incumbent President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Saturday at the launch of Duda's re-election campaign in Warsaw.

"In politics, you can really go forward or stand still, and even go backwards. Thanks to this great change that Andrzej Duda initiated, Poland has moved forward," Morawiecki said.

According to the prime minister, no one is as motivated as Duda to win the May 10 presidential election.

Addressing the convention, Morawiecki said that he saw great enthusiasm and great energy among its participants. "I am convinced that if there is this much energy in the next 85 days, we will win," he said.
