Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgheniy Yenin on Wednesday said Poland may provide Ukraine with 1.5 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

"Poland once again demonstrated its friendly attitude towards Ukraine by offering us a certain amount of vaccines. This concerns almost 1.5 million doses that Poland could give us after it receives the preparations itself," said Yenin as quoted by Interfax Ukraine.

He added that Ukraine, negotiating within an international mechanism, hopes to obtain around 8 million doses of the vaccine.
