Poland will lift most pandemic restrictions on March 1, including remote work, the prime minister announced on Wednesday.

Mateusz Morawiecki said the only remaining obligation will be to wear face masks in public areas, including shops and public transport.

Also lifted will be remote work recommendations, he said.

"We are lifting most restrictions, leaving only those that are most necessary. What will remain intact is masking in public areas, especially on public transport and in shops, where the distance between people is really small. We are also returning to regular office work," Morawiecki said.
