Poland is an attractive country for int'l hotel operators

A total of 60 percent of international hotel operators are willing to make an investment in Poland, according to a recent study carried out by a global commercial real estate services firm.
Apart from the capital of Warsaw, and the city of Kraków in southern Poland, also attracting the growing interest of international hotel operators interest have been Gdańsk in the northern part of the country, Łódź in central Poland, and Katowice in south-eastern Poland, Cushman & Wakefield wrote in a "Hospitality Operator Beat Q4 2021" report.
Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Kraków and Bucharest are the top five markets for hotel operators in Central and Eastern Europe.
Warsaw advanced in the 2021 ranking of most attractive markets to the second spot, just behind Prague.
In all, more than 80 percent of operators were willing to expand in Warsaw, and around 67 percent would consider Kraków, according to the report.
"Poland has been considered by large hotel operators as the strongest and most-desired market in the entire CEE region," Łukasz Bondyra from Cushman & Wakefield was quoted as saying.
The survey included representatives of the 30 largest international hotel operators.
