Poland is among the countries cooperating with the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) aid organisation through two GEM warehouses located in Tarczyn, central Poland, and the southeastern city of Rzeszów.

GEM's currently-planned aid campaign for Ukraine foresees sending 200 trucks weekly with aid for the war-torn country via the organisation's Global Aid Network. Pending departure to Ukraine, the aid will be stored in Poland, Hungary, and western Ukraine.

Until Thursday, 65 trucks with GEM aid had managed to reach Ukraine.

The Global Empowerment Mission was founded in the US over twenty years ago, and has since carried out more than 295 aid missions to 28 countries.
