Poland beats Latvia in Euro 2020 qualifier

Poland's national football team beat Latvia 3-0 in its seventh Euro 2020 Group G qualifying soccer match, at Daugava Stadium in Riga on Thursday.

All three goals were scored by the Poland's captain Robert Lewandowski.

After seven matches, Poland sits atop the Group G standings with 16 points, three more than Austria and five more than North Macedonia and Slovenia.

The Poles will face off against North Macedonia in their next qualifying match in Warsaw on Sunday.
