Poland appoints new ambassadors

Poland on Wednesday appointed new ambassadors to Sweden, Serbia and Brazil, the Foreign Ministry announced on Twitter. The nominations were conferred by Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz.

Poland's new envoy in Sweden is Joanna Hofman, a former ambassador to Finland. The new ambassador to Serbia is Rafał Perl, a career diplomat, former press chief at the Polish embassy in Washington and a former OSCE election observer in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Poland's new ambassador to Brazil is Jakub Tadeusz Skiba, a former National Bank of Poland (NBP) executive and head of the Polish mint.
