Poland among European countries with low virus rate per mln - health min

Poland is one of the European countries where the virus rate per million inhabitants is very low, which proves that gov't recommendations and decision in this matter have been correct, Minister of Health Lukasz Szumowski told a Monday press conference.

He added that he "fully concurs" that the Polish economy should be unfrozen.

"This is certainly an extremely important topic (...) and I have kept on saying that if we do not unfreeze the economy, if we do not start working, then unfortunately there will be dramatic effects, also in the field of healthcare," he said.
