Poland among EU leaders in cumulative economic growth in past two years
European Commission data show that Poland is among four EU countries that recorded positive cumulative economic growth in the last two years.
Ireland, which has not experienced a recession despite the coronavirus pandemic, boasted the greatest increase in the last two years with a cumulative economic growth of 8.6 percent of GDP.
Also on the plus side were: Lithuania (3.4 percent), Estonia (2.1 percent) and Poland (1.7 percent).
The remaining EU countries recorded negative economic growth in 2019-2020.
