Poland among EU leaders for women in management posts - Eurostat
Poland is second in the EU when it comes to the number of women in managerial positions, Eurostat, the EU’s statistics agency, reported on Friday.
The information was picked up by Poland’s permanent representation to the EU.
"Poland ranks second in the EU in terms of the share of women in managerial positions,” it tweeted on Friday. “According to Eurostat, women in Poland held 44 percent of managerial positions in the third quarter of 2020."
Latvia topped the list with a figure of 45 percent, while Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia and Sweden also ranked highly, all with 42 percent.
The lowest number of women in management positions was recorded by Croatia, with only 24 percent.
