PM thanks outgoing foreign minister for his work

Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki has expressed his gratitude to the outgoing foreign minister for his work. "Jacek Czaputowicz is a person of high class and a great professional," the PM said.

Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz tendered his resignation to the prime minister on Thursday and it was accepted by the PM. Czaputowicz served as foreign minister since January 2018. He had been working for the Foreign Ministry since 1990.

"His knowledge and his ability to successfully navigate the intricate meanders of diplomacy helped strengthen Poland's international position and achieve many successes in this field," PM Morawiecki wrote on Facebook.
