PM in Hamburg for conference on transatlantic relations

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is in Hamburg on Saturday to attend the Future of Transatlantic Relations (FOTAR) international conference.

The Polish PM is scheduled, along with the Germany's Federal Minister of Finance and Vice Chancellor Olaf Scholz, to take the floor in the discussion entitled "A European Perspective for the Future of Transatlantic Relations."

The conference has been organised by the Federal Chancellor Helmut Schmidt Foundation and the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg – Institute for European Integration at the University of Hamburg.

During the meeting, which was inaugurated on Friday, politicians, academic experts and entrepreneurs will discuss current challenges in transatlantic relations, in areas such as trade, security and environmental protection, as well as the future of relations between the United States and the European Union.
