PM appeals for responsible behaviour over Christmas/New Year period
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appealed on his Facebook page on Monday for people to act responsibly this Christmas and New Year.
"Let's be responsible, especially at Christmas and on the upcoming New Year's Eve," Morawiecki wrote.
"Knowing that the vaccine is already available and will soon reach Poland, we must be aware that the virus is insidious and attacks constantly. According to many medics, January and February can turn out to be more threatening than October and November were," the post continued.
"Let's remember that the night is darkest before the dawn. Solidarity and discipline will be our lanterns," the prime minister wrote.
