Piotr Żyła takes third place in ski jumping World Cup event

Polish ski jumper Piotr Żyła has won a podium place for the first time in this season's World Cup events, placing third in Lahti, Finland.

The event was won by Austria's Stefan Kraft. Poland's Dawid Kubacki placed 13th while Kamil Stoch was 24th.

This is Żyła's 18th podium place in World Cup ski jumping events, but the first this season. He has won twice, in Oslo in 2013 and in Bad Mitterndorf in 2020.
