PAP to hold Media of the Future conference
Experts from IESE Business School, the Poynter Institute journalism school and the global accountancy firm PwC, will meet in Warsaw on December 4 to debate the latest trends, innovations and business initiatives on the media market at the Media of the Future conference organised by the Polish Press Agency (PAP).
The conference is addressed to managers and editors-in-chief of national and local media, marketing, PM and communications managers, new technology professionals and representatives of public institutions and universities.

Media of the Future is an annual PAP event and one of Poland's key media sector conferences. The event will be devoted to the future of the market and the challenges it faces in increasingly digital times.
The conference will feature talks, panel discussions and workshops with media, technology and business professionals.
The participants will take a closer look at the impact of new technologies on the media and will analyse the changes that have been brought about through the development of the internet and mobile devices. They will also discuss methods of fighting fake news.
Legislative matters affecting copyright and publishers' rights will also be a significant point on the conference agenda, along with development prospects of local media.
Keynote speakers will include Prof. Mike Rosenberg from IESE Business School, Peter Kropsch, chairman of the German DPA agency, Martin Mellor, head of Ericsson in Poland, and Konrad Dobrowolski, Senior Associate Advocate at PWC.
Also in attendance will be Alexandru Ion Giboi, secretary general of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) and Kristen Hare, local press transformation specialist at Poynter Institute.
Poland's Ministry of Digital Affairs has extended patronage over the event.
