Overwhelming majority of Poles for staying in EU - poll

Eighty-seven percent of Poles said Poland should remain as a member of the European Union, according to Monday-published results of a poll conducted by the Kantar pollster for the private TVN and TVN24 news channels.
Eight percent of those polled expressed the opposite view, while a further 5 percent was unable to decide.
Forty-nine percent of those questioned confirmed that the policy pursued by the ruling Law and Justice party may lead to Poland's exit from the EU, while 40 percent disagreed with this opinion and 11 percent were undecided.
In January 2020, 89 percent of Poles said Poland should stay in the EU while six percent said it should leave the union.
The poll was conducted on November 20-23 on a representative group of 1,003 adult Poles.
