Over 50 pct of Poles to take part in European elections - poll
In all, 52 percent of Poles have declared in a CBOS survey that they will take part in the forthcoming elections to the European Parliament (EP) in May.
"Over 50 percent of the respondents have declared they will go to the polls in the EP elections in May 2019. This means that the declared turnout in the forthcoming vote is considerably higher than in 2009 and 2014, when fewer than one-fifth of all pollees planned to vote," reads a commentary to the survey published on Monday.
Twenty-two percent said they would not go to the polls, while 26 percent were still undecided, CBOS added.
CBOS carried out the face-to-face survey on a representative sample of 968 adult Poles on February 7-14.
The European election will be held in Poland on May 26.
