A total of 40.8 percent of Ukranians believe Poland has a positive attitude towards their country, and 5.2 percent are of the opposite opinion, say the results of a Socis poll cited by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Wednesday.

The remaining respondents said that Poland's attitude towards Ukraine is neutral, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

The survey by the Center for Social and Marketing Research in Kiev also reported that 70.5 pct of the respondents believed Russia held a hostile attitude towards Ukraine, while 6 pct felt the opposite.

The poll was conducted in late January on a sample of 2,000 adults in all regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and the Donbass region occupied by pro-Russian separatists.
