Over 355,000 Ukrainians find jobs in Poland via simplified procedure

As many as 358,000 Ukrainians have found employment thanks to streamlined procedures introduced to help them find work, the Polish Family and Social Policy Ministry said on Thursday.
Under a law, Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland after February 24, the date on which Russia attacked their country, can take up employment without the need to apply for a special work permit.
Among other measures, the new law offers Polish language training to refugees and facilitates labour inspections.
Recent data from the Polish Border Guard show that around 5.08 million refugees, mainly women and children, have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border into Poland since the start of Russia's war on Ukraine.
