Thirty one percent of Polish companies plan to employ Ukrainian war refugees, revealed a Wednesday-published survey by the Polish Economic Institute (PIE), a government think-tank.

Five percent declared no plans to employ Ukrainian staff.

PIE wrote that most employment openings for Ukrainians in Poland are in the food and textile industries (40 percent), furniture production, construction (36 percent), services (31 percent), retail and the hospitality sector.

The employment of Ukrainians is also being considered by 16 percent of Poland's trading companies.
