Over 200,000 foreigners left Poland amid coronavirus pandemic - report

Following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, 223,000 foreigners left Poland in March and April, 2020, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Thursday.

The number of foreigners staying in Poland, decreased by 10.1 percent in comparison with the end of February, GUS said.

The Central Statistical Office announced that the population of Ukrainian citizens dropped by 11.5 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded among citizens of Belarus (32.2 percent) and Russia (25.7 percent).
