Orlen Group opens its first petrol station in Slovakia

Unipetrol, the Czech subsidiary of Poland's fuel group PKN Orlen, has officially opened its first fuel service station in Slovakia under the Benzina brand.

Benzina is a dominant fuel company in the Czech Republic. Tomasz Wiatrak, the CEO of Unipetrol announced its entrance to the major holding companies in Slovakia.

The Orlen Group formally entered the Slovakian market in April, when its first petrol station was launched in Malacy, near the Slovak-Czech border.

Unipetrol plans to launch seven petrol stations, which it is now in the process of taking over from the current owners.
