Opposition presidential runner holds slim lead in voter support poll

Forty-five percent of respondents to a July survey conducted by Kantar, said they would vote for the Civic Coalition's (KO) Rafal Trzaskowski, while 44 pct said they would support incumbent President Andrzej Duda in the presidential run-off vote on July 12.

Eleven percent of the voters could not say whom they would vote for, the study showed.

According to the survey, 81 percent of the respondents declared their participation in the election. Fifty-three percent of them said they would 'definitely' vote, while 28 percent would 'probably' vote.

As many as 13 percent of the voters will not take part in the presidential election, with 6 percent of the respondents being 'definitely' not interested.

Another six percent were not able to say whether they would take part in Sunday's election.
