Opposition Kidawa-Blonska pulls out from presidential race

The main opposition party, the centrist Civic Platform (PO)'s candidate for the presidential elections, Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska, supported by the broader Civic Coalition (KO),withdrew from the delayed presidential election, she told a Friday briefing.

"Firstly, I am certain that in several weeks we will have a new president" and "the difficult legal and constitutional situation will come to an end," Kidawa-Blonska told the briefing.

"Secondly, I won't take part in these elections," she said.
