Oldest Polish woman celebrates 113th birthday
Tekla Juniewicz, the longest living Polish woman, celebrated her 113th birthday on Monday. On the occasion, she received best wishes in a letter from Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
A letter was delivered by Jaroslaw Wieczorek, the Slaskie Province (southern Poland) governor, who visited the elderly lady on her birthday, the province governor's office announced on Tuesday.
Tekla Juniewicz is not only the oldest Polish resident, but also the 7th oldest living person in Europe and 21st in the world.
