October's core inflation rate up to 0.9 percent - central bank
Poland's core inflation, excluding the prices of food and energy, measured 0.9 percent year on year in October 2018, up from 0.8 percent in September, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced on Thursday.
September's core inflation, excluding fixed prices, amounted to 1.8 percent year on year, down from 1.9 percent in September.
Core inflation, excluding the most volatile priced items, measured 1.4 percent year on year, unchanged from the previous month.
The 15-percent trimmed mean inflation measured 1.7 percent year on year in October, down from 1.8 percent a month earlier.
According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), October's prices of consumer goods and services increased by 1.8 percent year on year and by 0.4 percent month on month.
