Poland plans that, by May 10, all Poles over 18 years of age will be able to register for vaccination.

"Compliments to the entire staff involved in the implementation of the National Vaccination Programme! It is thanks to your work that we took another step in the fight against the pandemic, reaching a total number of 9,000,000 vaccinations performed," Michal Dworczyk, head of the PM's Office and the government commissioner in charge of the national vaccination programme, wrote on Twitter early on Tuesday.

On Monday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Covid-19 vaccination registrations for all Poles over the age of 18 will start on May 10.

Poland launched its nationwide vaccination campaign on December 27.
