Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland rises to 1,120
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland has increased by 35 people to 1,120, since the morning report the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday afternoon.
The to-date death toll was reported at 14.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Poland was confirmed on March 4, with the patient already discharged from hospital in the western city of Zielona Gora.
The new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus causes the COVID-19 disease. Its symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches and fatigue.
