No deal Brexit should be avoided at all cost - Polish FM
From Poland's perspective, the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union with no deal reached should be avoided at all cost, Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on private radio on Thursday.
If a delayed Brexit date should bring London's and Brussels' stances closer together, then Poland will support such a delay, Jacek Czaputowicz added.
Asked whether Poland "has its own proposals" on Brexit, Czaputowicz said that Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki was in regular contact with his British counterpart, Theresa May.
In mid-January, the British parliament rejected the Brexit deal that the British government had negotiated with the EU.
The UK is scheduled to leave the EU on March 29, at 11 pm GMT.
