New president of agricultural restructuring agency appointed

The former head of the President's Office, Halina Szymanska, was appointed on Tuesday as president of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR), the ARiMR's press office has said.

Szymanska replaced the agency's former head, Tomasz Nowakowski.

In 2006-2008, Szymanska managed the West Pomeranian Regional Branch of ARiMR in Szczecin, north-western Poland, and in 2016-2017 she was the deputy president of ARiMR.

From June 2017 to October 7, 2020, she held the position of the head of Polish President Andrzej Duda's office.
