New industrial orders up 6.9 pct y/y in February - stats office
Poland's new industrial orders rose by 6.9 percent year on year in February 2020 after a 5.5 percent y/y increase in January, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.
In month-on-month terms, new orders went down by 4.0 percent, after a 19.5 percent increase in January, GUS said.
According to the stats office, new export orders in Polish industry increased by 15.6 percent y/y in February after a 8.8 percent increase a month earlier.
In monthly terms, new export orders went up by 0.5 percent, after a 19.4 percent growth in January.
